Happy New Year River Green Rays!!! In less than 5 short months we will be back in the pool getting ready for a new season!!! Couple of quick items that I want to make you all aware of.

First, we have a New Head Coach!!! Coach Ra Amen (pronounced: Ah-mean). Coach Ra is an excellent coach for our group. He was able to attend a couple of our meets last season and was extremely impressed on how well our small group performed. Coach Ra is currently an Assistant coach with the year round program, Stingrays over at Cherokee Aquatic Center and is the Head Coach of the Mens and Women’s Varsity and Jr. Varsity teams at The Kings Academy. Coach Ra grew up here in Georgia and prior to college, swam for the Tidal Waves year round team.

Next, we will be having registration open earlier then in years past to help with getting swim suit fittings and we will be holding a try out for new swimmers (details to come). I’d like to host a parents meeting as well to set the season up for those new and returning. I welcome your feedback as always.
